Overview
MarketU is looking for a Full-Time Short-Form Video Editor to create viral, high-impact content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. This role is perfect for editors who thrive on fast-paced projects, know what hooks audiences, and want to grow within a collaborative remote team.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video ads for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook
- Craft compelling hooks and strong calls to action
- Integrate trending sounds, transitions, and effects to boost engagement
- Add subtitles, dynamic text, and clean sound design
- Keep edits aligned with each brand’s voice and identity
- Organize raw footage, project files, and final exports
- Communicate directly with clients and the internal team
- Update task progress in project management tools
Abilities & Credentials
- Experience editing short-form social media videos
- Proficient in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro (required)
- Solid grasp of ad structures and content pacing
- Strong awareness of current TikTok and Instagram trends
- Ability to work across different tones and brand styles
- Clear communication skills in English
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with quick turnarounds
Time Commitment
- Full-time
- 9-hour workday (8 hours + 1-hour lunch), Monday to Friday
- Must be available during Pacific Standard Time (PST)
