Overview
MarketU is looking for a Full-Time Long-Form Video Editor to produce high-quality, engaging content across YouTube, landing pages, vlogs, and more. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to pace stories, add polish through smart edits, and hold attention over longer formats.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form videos including YouTube content, product reviews, fitness/workout videos, and landing page clips
- Add subtitles, overlays, transitions, music, and visual effects
- Ensure pacing, color grading, audio syncing, and storytelling are on point
- Collaborate with team members and clients to bring their vision to life
- Suggest creative enhancements to elevate final output
- Stay current with content trends on YouTube and other long-form platforms
- Maintain organized project files and edit logs
- Incorporate feedback and handle revisions with clarity
Abilities & Credentials
- Proven experience in editing long-form videos (portfolio required)
- Proficient in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong eye for detail, pacing, and content structure
- Experience with premium content like talking head videos, vlogs, and branded landing page content
- Good understanding of storytelling and audience retention strategies
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Time Commitment
- Full-time
- 9-hour workday (8 hours + 1-hour lunch), Monday to Friday
- Must be available during Pacific Standard Time (PST)
